My parents are nagging me about my being on the Internet for hours and hours to communicate with my friends on my favourite Social media platform. They kept telling me that I should go over to their houses or invite them to our place, instead of sitting in front of the computer 24/7. It is so hard to make them understand that it is a lot easier to talk to my friends through chat messengers and social media platform. Furthermore, I get to interact with other kids my age from different countries. My social networking site is not only full of people I know from school, but they are also kids I met through online games that I play every day. It is fun and I get to know the different cultures of other ethnicities. I have stopped trying to make my parents understand. I do not think they will ever understand why it is easier this way.
